Custom Deflating Soufflé Prop
Ben created a custom soufflé prop that collapsed on command using a vacuum pump. See the gallery of process pictures below for a look at how it was made.
After sculpting a soufflé using reference pictures, Ben molded the sculpture and then cast a soufflé using Dragon Skin FX Pro by Smooth On. He painted the soufflé using Smooth On Psycho Paints and Silc Pigs and a Paasche Talon airbrush.
Ben deflated the soufflé using a vacuum pump. He cast a soufflé skin in silicone and seated it on top of a fiberglass armature inside the soufflé dish.
